Experience

Stephen began his investment industry career in 2016 and joined Stifel in 2020 after spending three years with Aspiriant in San Francisco. Before that, he served as an assistant with Stifel’s Institutional Municipal Bond Trading Desk. This experience provided a sound understanding of the municipal bond market and incorporating bonds into client portfolios.

Before transitioning to the finance industry, Stephen served four years as a Battalion Supply Officer in the United States Marine Corps, completing one deployment to Darwin, Australia, and Okinawa, Japan. His military experience provided strong lessons in leadership and discipline.

Personal

Stephen’s favorite part of his job is learning how people of different backgrounds pursue their success.

Nataliya Popel

Nataliya Popel is a Managing Director and the Head of Structured Investments Team at Stifel. Prior to joining Stifel 5 years ago Nataliya was a VP at Barclays on Equity and Funds Structured Solutions desk, where she worked for over 10 years and was responsible for origination and distribution of Structured Investments solutions and quantitative strategies to banks and broker/dealer clients. Nataliya is a CFA charterholder and holds her MBA from Columbia Business School.

Lauren Harrington

Ms. Harrington is a Vice President and Co-Head of Stifel’s Global Client Coverage Group (“Client Coverage”), which focuses on deepening client relationships across the firm. In this role, she is responsible for leading the firm’s strategy to align and integrate all parts of the Stifel platform in order to address the multifaceted needs of its clients.

Before leading Client Coverage, Ms. Harrington was an Associate in Stifel’s Investment Bank, where she worked with Private Equity and Venture Capital Funds in the Financial Sponsors Group. She also liaised with Stifel’s Private Client Group to develop new business opportunities for the investment banking division.

Prior to joining Stifel in 2010, Ms. Harrington was an Analyst in the Capital Strategies Group at Morgan Stanley Smith Barney (“MSSB”), formerly Citi Capital Strategies. While at MSSB, she advised Smith Barney clients on the sale or recapitalization of their privately-held businesses. Ms. Harrington and her teams successfully advised on transactions resulting in over $180 million in aggregate closed transaction value across a multitude of industries, including aerospace & defense, business services and healthcare.

Anthony Rusigno

Anthony Ruscigno

Anthony Ruscigno is a Senior Wealth Strategist at Stifel. He educates high-net-worth clients on wealth preservation and wealth transfer planning matters, including the integration of personal planning with appropriate investment strategies. Mr. Ruscigno joined Stifel in 2015 as part of its acquisition of Barclays Wealth and Investment Management, Americas.

Prior to joining Barclays in May 2011 as a Wealth Advisor, Mr. Ruscigno practiced law as a Tax, Trust, and Estates Attorney at Porzio Bromberg & Newman P.C., focusing on tax and estate planning for high-net-worth individuals. Mr. Ruscigno formerly practiced at the Law Office of Richard E. Ingram, Esq. and at Mantell & Prince, P.C., where he advised on tax planning for individuals and entities. Prior to that, Mr. Ruscigno was a Tax Manager in the Structured Finance Group at KPMG LLP.

Mr. Ruscigno earned a B.B.A. in Finance from Pace University, a Juris Doctor from New York Law School, and a Master of Laws (LLM) in Taxation from New York University School of Law. He also holds the Series 7 (General Securities Representative) and Series 66 (Investment Advisor Representative) securities registrations.
